Fees and Logistics
Session Fee: Individual therapy sessions are $220. Individual therapy may be booked through Headway when using accepted insurance plans.
Couples therapy sessions are $300 and are private pay. Couples therapy is scheduled directly through this practice. Most insurance plans do not cover couples therapy when the focus is relationship distress rather than treatment of an individual mental health diagnosis.
Cancellation Policy: 48 hours notice required. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session fee.
Payment: Cash, check, and major credit cards accepted. Payment is due at the time of service.
Format: In-person at the Mahopac office or telehealth for clients located in New York State.
No Surprises Act 2022:
As of January 1, 2022, clients have increased protection from surprise health care bills. Providers must provide a ‘good faith estimate’ (GFE) of expected charges that may be billed for items and services to individuals who are not enrolled in any health plan or coverage or are self-pay (not seeking to file a claim with their health plan or coverage). This rule only applies to current and future self-pay or uninsured clients.
